.......Quarter of a Century of Celebrating Native American Indian Culture



2012 marks a"Quarter of a Century" celebration of the

Native American Culture in Beaver County.

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2011 Native American Indian Gathering. It was another successful event with an amazing show of vendors, dancers, and wonderful folks like you.

Remember to mark your calendar for the 25th Annual Native American Gathering to be held:

October 13th and 14th at the

Community College of Beaver County - Athletics and Events Center

2010 Native American gathering

The 24th Annual Native American Indian Gathering, was held October 8th and 9th at the Community College of Beaver County's Athletic Center (DOME), Monaca, was a huge success.
Hank Houghtaling of Mercer, PA, was our MC for the day and did an amazing job. Than you Hank!

Congratulations to SunBear Coe from Pittsburgh for winning the George "Pappy" Tew Memorial People's Choice Award for Best Dancer for the second year in a row.

Alex Gladis nominated as President of Logstown Historical Associates.

NEWS:

Alex Gladis was recently elected to serve as president of Logstown Historical Associates. Alex is credited with bringing the Native American Indian Gathering to Beaver County many years ago. Alex is the director of the Cranberry Center for Butler County Community College and also acts as Professor where he teaches Anthropoly and Native American Indians.
